Dr. Pankaj singh, MD, Msc, PhD(c)
Trainee

Pankaj is currently pursuing a PhD in Computational Science and Engineering. Holding an MSc in computer science, he brings a distinctive blend of expertise to his research. Notably, Pankaj boasts a decade of experience as an emergency physician, uniquely positioning him at the intersection of medical practice and computational science. Pankaj's current research is centered around two key areas:

1. Neural Network Triage Models for ER Walk-Ins:
Pankaj is dedicated to advancing the field of neural network triage models, specifically tailored for walk-in patients in the Emergency Room (ER). This work has the potential to greatly enhance the efficiency and accuracy of patient assessments.

2. Deep Learning in Medical Decision-Making:
He is delving into the application of deep neural networks in medical decision-making processes. His research aims to support healthcare workers in identifying accurate diagnoses and selecting the most appropriate treatments.

Pankaj is enthusiastic about the transformative potential of deep learning models in healthcare. He envisions these advancements benefiting healthcare workers by optimizing critical tasks such as triage, facilitating the efficient ordering of investigations, and aiding in the process of creating a list of differential diagnosis.
