Ryan Strum is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Research Institute of St. Joe's Hamilton (RSJH) and an advanced care paramedic. Ryan's research focus's on classifying and describing avoidable emergency department visits; visits that could have been safely and effectively managed in non-ED healthcare settings. Ryan uses quantitative and machine learning methodology to analyze large healthcare datasets.
