Darly Dash, MSc, PhD (c) is a Research Associate and doctoral student at McMaster University in Health Research Methodology focusing on conducting large, observational studies. She has been recognized nationally with a competitive Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) -doctoral award and was selected by field leaders as an emerging aging-focused scholar to attend the CIHR Summer Program in Aging. Her doctoral research focuses on investigating the practices of long-term care physicians to understand how medical provider competency and commitment influence the quality of care to residents. She uses a unique electronic medical record (EMR) database to support prospective comparative research.

Darly brings real-world practical experience in conducting large studies across borders, facilitating research collaborations internationally, leading program evaluations for continuous improvement, and conducting robust qualitative research.
