Komal Aryal, PhD(c) trainee

Komal Aryal is a 3rd-year PhD candidate in the Health Research Methodology program at McMaster University. Her academic journey is marked by a profound commitment to improving the quality of end of life experiences for older adults in Canada. Her research efforts are primarily conducted at the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging. Her commitment to this endeavour reflects her strong belief in the importance of evidence-based research to inform policies and practices that enhance the lives of older adults.

Komal Aryal is not only an accomplished researcher but also an engaged and proactive member of her academic community. She serves as the Co-Chair for the Canadian Association for Health Services and Policy Research (CAHSPR) Student Working Group. Her leadership and commitment to advancing healthcare research are evident in her involvement with this group and other local student led organizations.
